i feel like a superwoman

and that my head has spun
with endless threads of joy

i was smiling from ear to ear
and was trying hard to kick my emo's butt

the tears of my inner fear

i had 21inch pizzas
and some pink guava margaritas
i was trying to drown my sadness
and lift up to my day

i have exceeded my limits.
i kicked the hell of my emo's butt
and drowned my sadness with my margaritas
and yes indeed, i lift up to my day

my day. my very own 21st birthday.

i threw all my downs,
and went all the way up.

and up i as i go,
i made a quiet promise to never come back down
for there's nothing to get back
and infinite things that awaits me ahead

i took off.
i went up.
and i'm never gonna come back down, ever.
